What are 3 Minute Wonders?

A 3 Minute Wonder is a short documentary by budding directors about a certain subject/topic. It was designed by Channel 4 as a way to help first-time directors come into the industry of television. With the types of topic you could expect to see, it varies but is usually about a person, maybe a trend or things of that caliber.

The Carrot Crew

"The Carrot Crew" is about a group of students at a London school who are against a "rival gang" as it were, both trying to create their own food revolutions. The Carrot Crew being one, the Crisp Crew being the other. To be honest, what I have learned from this is the youth in London have rather odd ideas of what is trendy and what is not. I have to admit, I am glad that I am not living in London. They seem rather passionate but also a bit deluded in my own opinion. The documentary format that this has been presented in an expository form, where the audience can see the social issues and trends within London.
